The latest installment of Naughty Dog has been The Last of Us Part II, a work that has become in its own right one of the most important titles of 2020 . The sequel has been the subject of all kinds of debate and opinion, just like the original game.
The Last of Us was a shock to the industry. PS3 was starting to fade, but it still had the energy to give us the last great Sony exclusive for that generation. Its multiplayer section received many positive reviews and we still do not know if the second part will have this mode.
Now, seven years after its release, a former Naughty Dog designer, Rodney Reece , has unveiled an Easter egg that until now had been hidden , but in full view of the world. The Beach online map, in Faction mode, features wrecks and accidents. One of them is part of the fuselage of Victor Sullivan’s plane, a character from the Uncharted saga.
You know, here is an easter egg I’ve been holding onto since 2013.
In the Last of Us on the map “Beach,” there are remnants of a propeller plane. That plane is Sully’s plane from Uncharted 1.
Not saying that’s canon. But I took it from U1, broke it into pieces, & put it there. pic.twitter.com/SQjFXn68HZ

As you read. The Hog Wild was the vehicle old man Sully used during good old Nathan’s first adventure, back in 2007. “I’m not saying it’s canon, but I took it (from Uncharted), broke it to pieces, and put it there.” , Reece has confessed after so long.
A pity that this reference can no longer be verified in person, since the servers of the Naughty Dog games of the PS3 generation were closed last year. However, this is not the first nod between works created by the studio. Both Uncharted and The Last of Us have several easter eggs towards Crash Bandicoot and the Jak & Daxter saga. Recently, the marsupial winked back at Elena and Nathan in the most sympathetic way.
