Destiny 2 and God of War III: Remastered between the September PlayStation Plus games

It is indisputable. After a terrific streak of monthly incentives for PlayStation Plus subscribers, what users of the Sony family of consoles will receive in September takes the cake. From the outset, ‘Destiny 2’ can be downloaded at no additional cost, and the remastered version of ‘God of War III’ will arrive next week.

Once again, PS4 users will get the lion’s share thanks to the cross-buy system, which will guarantee them no less than seven titles for all tastes , including a proposal for PlayStation VR, a title from the PlayLink label and a classic of the caliber of ‘Another World’ . Little joke.

Below is the list of games that can be downloaded from September 4:

Free games for PS4

The two heavyweights:

  • Destiny 2 (now available for download at no additional cost)
  • God of War III: Remastered (valued at 34.99 euros)

And on September 1, all ‘Destiny 2’ players will be able to try Gambit, one of the new modes included in the new expansion.

Alternative Game proposals:

  • Knowledge is Power (PS Plus Bonus – PlayLink) (valued at 19.99 euros)
  • Here They Lie (PS VR Required) (Valued at € 19.99)

Two gaming experiences that couldn’t be more different. On the one hand, you can continue downloading ‘Knowledge is power’ at no additional cost for another month. A Party Game from the PlayLink series in which the only requirement to join the game will be to have a smartphone (and that it has a battery, of course). On the other hand, subscribers who have the Sony reality device will be able to enjoy ‘ Here They Lie ‘, a first-person horror proposal.

Advantages of cross-game

  • Another World – 20th Anniversary Edition (PS3 + PS4 / PS Vita) (valued at 7.99 euros)
  • QUBE Director’s Cut (PS3 + PS4) (valued at 9.99 euros)
  • Foul Play (PS Vita + PS4) (valued at 9.99 euros)

A classic adventure, a twist on traditional puzzle games and a perfect indie game for handing out tollinas. The 20th anniversary edition of ‘Another World’ is a welcome visual update to one of the benchmarks of European software from the 90s.

More current are ‘QUBE Director’s Cut’ , which asks us to solve levels in the first person as if we were inside a Rubik’s cube; and ‘Foul Play’ , an indie-style brawler in which we must dispatch legions of enemies with punches.

Free games for PS3 and PS Vita

  • Another World – 20th Anniversary Edition (PS3 + PS4 / PS Vita) (valued at 7.99 euros)
  • QUBE Director’s Cut (PS3 + PS4) (valued at 9.99 euros)
  • Foul Play (PS Vita + PS4) (valued at 9.99 euros)
  • Sparkle 2 (PS Vita) (valued at 6.99 euros)

Two proposals for PS3 and four for Vita. Most to share with PS4 users, yes, but that doesn’t detract from them. The exclusive incentive in this case is ‘Sparkle 2’ , a puzzle game very much in the line of the popular ‘Zuma’ in which we will find three game modes: Story, Survival and Challenge, almost a hundred levels and a soundtrack with the signature by the composer Jonathan Geer.

  • Mafia III and Dead by Daylight among the August PlayStation Plus games
  • XCOM 2, Trials Fusion, and Rascal Revolt among June’s PlayStation Plus games
  • Heavy Rain, Rayman 3 HD and Absolver among the PlayStation Plus games of July
