PlayStation Network servers go down globally, once again (updated)

Update : After more than 8 hours of inactivity, the PSN servers are back to normal

Today was one of those key days for PlayStation 4 : not only because of the release of the highly anticipated ‘Battlefield 1’ from EA, but because the second beta of ‘Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’ begins, and above it is open in the Sony desktop.

However, Murphy’s law is doing its thing again: if you can’t connect to the network, don’t bother rebooting the router: PSN is down , and it’s done globally.

This has been confirmed by Sony itself through its twitter account, indicating that they are investigating the origins of the cause.

For now, we are reminded of the web to check the status of the service and, definitely, it is a good afternoon to turn off the console and take a walk: the administration of user accounts, the store, the game or the social functions are unused.

We will update as soon as we know more details.
