A few days ago, my partner Txema had the opportunity to try ‘Pro Evolution Soccer 2010’ , the new installment of Konami’s football simulator, of which he gave us first and positive impressions. I have preferred to remain cautious about everything announced about this game, since they are already a couple of seasons of disappointment, and there is no desire to be disappointed again.
Even so, it cannot be denied that things are looking pretty good, and while with ‘ FIFA 10′ EA is betting on being conservative in search of a new triumph, Konami does seem willing to put all the meat on the grill to return to take the title of the best soccer game, after a few years of drought. Both in the technical section and in the playable section, a deep face lift is expected.
This obviously happens to give new air to the Master League , which is as you well know one of the star modes of the franchise. Thanks to this revision, the menu of this section will be divided into three parts on which to carry out our work as a sports manager: the Sports City, the Stadium Surroundings and the Office.
In the Sports City we will carry out purely sports actions in the management of our team, tactics for the matches and all those tasks that you already know. As an added bonus, this time we will also be able to control the quarry of our team, having to pay attention to the subsidiary in case a flashy youth squad falls to get to the first team, or to make money with him.
The Office will be the area for executive functions, transfer management, advertising agreements and the like. We will have to pay attention to the popularity of our team to get sponsors to finance us, and we will carry out the procedures with real currencies. Finally, the Surroundings of the Stadium will remain for general options.
We will see if this new way of presenting the Master League really becomes an improvement of the experience, as they assure from Konami, or it ends up being more of the same. We will have to wait until October 19 to find out, but in the meantime you can take a look at the appearance of the section with the images that have been published.
