Are you one of those who always buy the most expensive and complete collector’s editions that come out? Were you looking forward to Activision announcing the details of the most luxurious version of ‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’ ? Well, I’m sorry to tell you that you will have to settle for something more humble this time, because this war shooter will not have a Prestige edition .
You will remember that the Prestige from ‘Modern Warfare 2’ brought fully functional night vision goggles and the one from ‘Black Ops’ came with a radio-controlled car, among other incentives. In this case there will not be so many luxuries, and we can only acquire the title in standard or Hardened edition , which always comes with a metal box and some extra content.
The news has been confirmed as usual by Robert Bowling, the Infinity Ward member who is best known by his nickname fourzerotwo. In any case, Activision can rest easy knowing that ‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’ will sell like hotcakes when it goes on sale in November, whatever editions you have.
