A French student of dentistry is the new Miss Universe

French Iris Mittenaere, a 24-year-old dental student who loves to cook, was crowned Miss Universe on Monday in Manila, beating the finalists from Haiti and Colombia in beauty according to the jury. Born in Lille, northern France, where Residing since childhood, Mittenaere had been crowned Miss France 2016 and Miss North-Pas-de-Calais the year before.
