Lynxes are carnivorous mammals belonging to the feline family. Currently, these animals are in danger of extinction in Spain. In addition, they stand out for their spectacular appearance, since they are like wild cats. There are four different species: the Canadian lynx, the bobcat, the Eurasian lynx, and the Iberian lynx. All species are in good condition, except for the Iberian lynx, which is one of the most threatened species on the planet. In fact, an estimated 800 wild specimens remain.
Although the coat varies depending on each species, they have a pattern of spots or stripes. In addition, some have long and dense hair due to the climate to which they have adapted. Also, their tail is shorter than that of other felines and they have a tip of black hair on their ears. This helps them improve their hearing, which is already quite good.
