Bezzecchi bursts into Thailand and takes pole position in MotoGP

Buriram.- This is the fifth time that the Italian will start without traffic ahead, even though the previous four were in Moto3 (two) and Moto2 (two). In this way, Marco Bezzecchi becomes the tenth different driver to win pole position this season , a new record in the history of the event. It will be precisely Fabio Quartararo who will start fourth, in command of the second line, which will also form Johann Zarco (fifth) and Enea Bastianini (sixth).

Jack Miller will start seventh after being the sixth rider above a Desmosedici in the top seven, while Marc Márquez will be seventh, just ahead of Luca Marini, who will close the third row.

Alex Rins closed a top ten, from which Brad Binder (11th) and Miguel Oliveira (12th) were left out, although all the participants in that second qualifying round (Q2) finished in less than nine tenths.

Aleix Espargaró, for his part, was one tenth short of the cut that would have allowed him to play the second round , and he will be forced to start 13th. At this point, it is worth highlighting the performance of Raúl Fernández, who was able to finish 16th despite having missed the third free rehearsal, in the morning, as a result of an acute stomach ailment that has dragged on since Thursday.
