Bradl joined the test with Pol Espargaró's motorcycle and suit

The HRC test rider was last week in Jerez, in a SBK test in which the Honda team of the series-derived motorcycle championship took part, and in which Stefan Bradl took advantage of the track to spend one of the days of training to which the test teams are entitled during the year.

All the material used by the German rider was packed that same Friday afternoon in Jerez and left for Malaysia, getting ‘stuck’ on a scale due to bureaucratic issues, which has prevented Bradl’s test bike from reaching today to Kuala Lumpur.

Honda has reacted immediately and this Tuesday it had already prepared a unit of Pol Espargaró’s prototypes that have been in Sepang since last weekend, so that Bradl could go out on the track and accumulate kilometers testing new parts, including two different fairings.

The Augsburg runner had to use a suit and boots also from Espargaró, which fortunately has the same material supplier as the German, the Italian brand Dainese, thus starring in one of the curious images of the day. The problem was the gloves, which he had to look for in another box as he had a different size of hands than Polyccio . The only positive thing for Bradl is that he left Jerez with the helmet in his luggage.

Bradl’s bike is not expected to arrive in Sepang before the weekend, just before the test open to all riders scheduled for the 5th and 6th, when the prototype will join the bikes made available to Pol and Marc Márquez, both already traveling to Malaysia, where they are expected this Wednesday.

For the weekend, in principle, Bradl is not scheduled to take part in practice, so his work in Sepang will end this Wednesday after having done 51 laps on Tuesday, with a best time of 2.01.361 , the ninth on the time sheet.
