We were able to take a first look at it last week, anticipating its arrival and finally we already know everything that awaits us. Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops Cold War sign up for season 4, which has already revealed its roadmap.
June 17. That is the date set for all the content to reach the two Activision games, although in these two days we will be able to prepare the update so as not to lose a second before playing. We go there with everything that comes to us:
Warzone
- Verdansk Update: As we could see in the previous trailer, there will be new satellite impact zones, so we will have to start mastering those zones.
- Ground Fall seasonal event.
- New modes: Verdansk Resurgence Mini , with a reduced number of players, and Pyload , which will land throughout the season and cause us to escort a couple of caravans or sabotage them.
- New gulag based on the classic map Hijacked.
- New vehicle , the mountain bike.
- The mysterious red doors , whose function is not clear yet, but everything indicates that it will serve as a teleportation
- New Operators : Of course, we will have Jackal launching and will be joined throughout the season by Salah and Weaver.
- Kill streak for the Hand Cannon, a ridiculously high caliber semi-auto pistol that inflicts lethal damage anywhere on the body.
- New prestige levels.
- New weapons :
-C58 (launch assault rifle)
-MG 82 (launch assault rifle)
-Nail gun (during the season)
-OTS 9 (submachine gun that arrives during the season)
-Mace (melee weapon that arrives during the season)
Black Ops Cold War
- Multiplayer Maps:
-Collateral: 6 vs 6 o 12 vs 12.
-Hijacked: 6 vs 6.
-Amsterdam: 2 vs 2 o 3 vs 3.
-Rush: 6 vs 6 and will arrive throughout the season
For zombies mode we will have a good portion of everything. For starters, Outbreak will feature a new area called Zoo and a new mission called Operation Excision. In addition, Mauer der Toten is the name given to the new map in East Berlin , after an invasion of the undead. We know little about this content, so we will have to wait for more news.
Size of updates
Of course, another detail that should not be missing is how much space we will need in our systems to have these updates. Here are the file sizes for all platforms:
Warzone
- PS5: 11 GB
- PS4: 11 GB
- Xbox Series X / S: 11.2 GB
- Xbox One: 11.2 GB
- PC: 12.3 GB (Warzone only) / 13.5 GB (Warzone and Modern Warfare). PC users will also need 27.1-28.3 GB of additional space for the patch copy process.
Black Ops Cold War
- PS5: 30 GB
- PS4: 15.5 GB
- Xbox Series X / S: 31.0 GB
- Xbox One: 17.7 GB
- PC: 21.6 GB (without HD pack) / 30.7 GB (with HD pack). PC users will also need between 60.6 and 92.1 GB of additional hard drive space for the patch copy process.
This large load is due to data optimization. Remember that you don’t need to download Warzone if you only play Black Ops Cold War and vice versa. On the other hand, you can choose to uninstall other data packages if they are no longer needed and thus free up space.
Lastly, a new High Resolution Texture Pack is coming June 22. This will add more high definition textures to the game, which is optimal for those running the game at higher resolutions, such as 1440p and 4K. This is the size for each platform:
- PS5: 7,6 GB
- PS4: 7,6 GB
- Xbox Series X/S: 7,2 GB
- Xbox One: 7,2 GB
