Universal gave the green light to a biopic about Cher . This was revealed by the singer through Twitter this Thursday, May 20, the same day she celebrates her 75th birthday.

”Universal is preparing a biopic with my friends Judy Craymer and Gary Goetzman as producers. They have produced both Mamma Mia! . My dear friend of four years, Oscar winner Eric Roth, will write the script. Forrest Gump, A Star Is Born, Suspect, to name a few of your movies, ”he tweeted.
