'Crime of the Century', the HBO documentary on the opioid epidemic in the United States

Documentary series have become one of the preferred genres of streaming platform users. Exclusive interviews and access to research are also provided, with input from expert medical professionals, journalists, government agent and former agents, attorneys, and pharmaceutical sales representatives. For Gibney, drug companies are, in fact, largely responsible for creating the very crisis from which they profit.Crime of the Century Finding the Guilty The first part of the documentary focuses on how the aggressive promotion of OxyContin, a highly addictive drug from family-owned pharmaceutical giant Purdue Pharma, influenced this epidemic.
