'Crime of the Century', the HBO documentary on the opioid epidemic in the United States

Documentary series have become one of the preferred genres of streaming platform users. This Tuesday, May 11, the documentary The Crime of the Century opens on HBO about the opioid epidemic in the United States, this time it has been divided into two parts and is directed by Alex Gibney, known for having won the Emmy and the Oscar and for his work on The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley and Going Clear: Scientology & the Prison of Belief, a documentary presented in association with The Washington Post in which a harsh indictment is made against Big Pharma and political operatives and government regulations that allowed for the overproduction, reckless distribution, and abuse of synthetic opiates.
