Homer later describes the recruitment of troops by Odysseus, and how Achilles was forced to participate in the fighting to complete this revenge.

To his dismay, not only did he not find some of the objects that should have appeared in the area if this confrontation took place there, but he also destroyed other archaeological remains that, to this day, researchers seek to restore.
That is, there are no official confirmations about the location of Troy , or there is no evidence to suggest that the site where this city was located has been found.
Therefore, at least until some firmer breakthrough emerges, belief in the Trojan Horse and war in general is more a matter of mythological faith than empirical verification.
