After a first half of the year full of surprises, emotion and controversy, Formula 1 will face the return to competition with the unknown of who will end up reigning in the premiere of the current technical rules. It seems that Max Verstappen will be the rival to beat due to that great gap that he enjoys with respect to his closest rival, Charles Leclerc, with whom he has starred in the best duels of the season.
However, the vote carried out by the Great Circus does not propose a race that has been won by the top favorites to take the crown in 2022 as the best of the current campaign. The public is sovereign, and after counting the votes, it is the British Grand Prix in which Carlos Sainz got his first victory the most valued among the followers of the highest category of motorsport.

The debut of the Spaniard at the top of the podium with Ferrari has captivated 50% of those who participated in the vote, although it was not only the triumph of the Madrid native that motivated people to choose the Silverstone test as the best of the year so far.
The very strong and spectacular accident of Guanyu Zhou in the first start, together with the parallel battles with up to three cars, such as Sergio Pérez, Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, were the trigger for it to be the favorite race for the public in what what’s going on
However, other performances have also been appreciated by the public, such as Max Verstappen’s sublime comeback in the last test before the summer break in Hungary. There, the Dutchman managed, with a spin included, to rise from tenth position to lift the trophy as the winner at the Hungaroring to open up even more space in the general classification.
That meant that 18% of the votes were for that grand prize, although on the last step of the podium it presents a tie with 6% for those who participated. The shared bronze goes to the Austrian Grand Prix and the Bahrain Grand Prix, where we enjoyed several battles between the Ferraris of Leclerc and Sainz with the Red Bull of Verstappen, and, curiously, both races were won by the Monegasque.
