Formula 1 returns to Japan after two years of hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and next weekend the 2022 Japanese GP will be held, the eighteenth round of the season and where you can see how Max Verstappen seals his title.
The Suzuka international circuit once again hosts the highest category, and there, in a race in Japan that will be early in the morning in Spain and at dawn in Latin America , 53 laps will be held to cover 5,807 kilometers.
The event will be called, by the way, FORMULA 1 HONDA JAPAN GRAND PRIX 2022, after the Japanese motorist who equips Red Bull Racing and AlphaTauri became involved as the main sponsor.

As you have seen, FP2, the second free practice session of the Japanese GP, will last an hour and a half and not an hour as usual, since Pirelli wants to do some tire tests for 2023. In the United States, what will happen same.
Those of the F1 Japanese GP are schedules that force you to get up early in Spain (a lot, in the case of FP1 and FP3) and that in Latin America force you to extend the night, since the race will go from midnight in Mexico until two in the morning in Argentina.
But be careful, let’s remember that a cyclone in 2019 forced the cancellation of Saturday’s day of the last Japanese GP, whose classification took place on Saturday. What will heaven say this time?

After two years of absence due to the pandemic, these Asian tour races have returned and disrupt the schedules to which we had become accustomed in Spain and Latin America. The Japanese GP, with the time difference, will be very late in Latin America and very soon in Spain.
The classification and race in Japan will start at 00:00 and 01:00 in Mexico, Panama, Colombia, Peru and Cuador, at 01:00 and 02:00 in Chile, Bolivia, Venezuela and Paraguay, while Argentina and Uruguay they will have the schedule later, at 02:00 the classification and at 03:00 the race in Japan.
In Latin America, the television options to watch F1 vary depending on the country you are in, so aim well. And remember that there you can hire the official service of Formula 1 itself, F1 TV, something that is not possible in Spain.
To watch F1 in Spain, you already know that the only option is to watch DAZN F1, through its own platform on different types of devices or through Movistar +.
How have the drivers fared at the Japanese F1 GP and at the Suzuka circuit?
This weekend’s will be the 36th Japanese GP in F1 history, the 32nd being held at Suzuka (the other four were at Fuji). No one has won more than Michael Schumacher in Japan, with six victories, although he is followed by Lewis Hamilton with five and Sebastian Vettel with four.
If we stick to Suzuka, Hamilton and Vettel are tied four behind Schumacher, with six, while they have also won there from the current grid Fernando Alonso in 2006 (in 2008 he won at Fuji) and Valtteri Bottas, who took the last edition disputed there, in 2019.
The Suzuka circuit has a length of 5.807 km , and is one of the most liked by drivers due to its difficulty and the characteristics that require the best driving technique. He has seen several championships decided, and this Sunday there may be one more. It is shaped like a figure eight and has a bridge over the track, and features one of the most famous corners on the calendar, the 130R .
