On May 25, 1977 , a film was released in the United States that would mark several generations, as well as the way of making cinema in many aspects. But who writes these lines is not a Disney corporate looking for new benefits or a servant of the dark side of the Force, but an amateur of the worlds of George Lucas who found in them (even with their failures, who do they have) a a universe of excitement and adventure in which great heroes, fantastic villains and the eternal battles of light against darkness were the common tonic; all seasoned with space chases, lightsaber duels and thrilling shootouts. And while it is true that looking back tends to cause a distortion of events in which we tend to idealize and sweeten caused by overwhelming nostalgia, the great moments that fans have lived with the saga make it inevitable to remember it fondly and even wanting to be part of it .
There will be fans who seek the anonymity that the soldier uniform gives and see themselves as clone troopers of the Old Republic, Imperial stormtroopers or guerrillas of the rebel resistance. Others, perhaps most, will want to identify with their heroes and get closer to those main characters that move the plot like the independent Princess Leia Organa, Jar Jar Binks (hm, no) , the furry Chewbacca or the rogue Han Solo. And of course the Jedi and the Sith could not be absent, the two arms of that balance that is the Force that defend their conception of the world with their mystical powers and their weapon par excellence, the lightsaber.
Due to their important role in the saga and the greater development that they have been given, both the Jedi and the Sith are two groups that stand out in the Star Wars universe for being the main users of the Force and for their impressive display of skills. they show.
