Renneritz – After a small plane crashed at the Renneritz airfield in Saxony-Anhalt, a young person died in hospital from her serious injuries. The police announced on Monday.
This increased the death toll to four. In the accident, the 55-year-old pilot from Saxony and two young people from North Rhine-Westphalia were initially killed on Sunday afternoon. The 16-year-old from North Rhine-Westphalia, who was also on the plane, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
According to the police, the single-engine plane crashed and caught fire shortly after take-off. A flight camp with various flight clubs took place at the Renneritz airfield on Sunday, in which the pilot and the three passengers of the small aircraft also took part. dpa
