The main race of the Emilia Romagna GP left us with a spectacular performance by Max Verstappen, who achieved the second Grand Chelem of his life in Formula 1, in addition to 34 points in one weekend, the maximum that could be obtained thanks to the format to the sprint.

The Red Bull team strolled around the Imola circuit, one of the Ferrari houses, as they achieved the double with Sergio Pérez keeping Charles Leclerc at all times, who made a mistake in the final laps and lost a podium that was assured .

The other car in red, that of Carlos Sainz Jr., was unable to go beyond the first Tamburello chicane, where he got stuck in the gravel after a no-fault incident with Daniel Ricciardo.

In this way, the Spaniard adds his second consecutive withdrawal, which greatly damages the options of winning the world title this season. The same thing happened with Fernando Alonso, who saw how Mick Schumacher touched the pontoon of his Alpine, causing irreparable damage to the A522.
