The MotoGP World Championship is still alive! When it seemed that Pecco Bagnaia’s mistakes were going to keep him out of the fight for the title, the Italian has managed to recover to win the last three races.
Although it was Enea Bastianini who stole the wallet from the official Ducati in yesterday’s qualifying , Bagnaia gave no choice on Sunday. Only Jack Miller, who was also starting from the front row, was able to put the Italian in trouble, although with little success.
Fabio Quartararo completed a race from less to more, gaining positions until reaching second place. From behind, Jorge Martín had 13 points assured, but an excess of desire took him to the ground when he tried to overtake Miller.
Bagnaia thus continues to cut points from Quartararo in the general classification, while Espargaró, sixth in today’s race, loses the rope with respect to the Frenchman.
