The sound technicians are doing the last tests with the instruments, the lighting people have made sure all the lights are in order and the smoke machine is already starting to cover the stage. Downstairs, the audience shouts, whistles and chants your name, eager for you to appear on stage and start beating the guitar loudly.
There is very little left to enjoy ‘Guitar Hero: Metallica’ , possibly the heaviest game of all time (with permission from ‘Barbie And The Twelve Dancing Princesses’). But if you can’t wait any longer to get out of the dressing room, the game demo is now available on XBox Live.
In exchange for 1GB of download you will get four songs to warm your fingers: ‘Seek And Destroy’ and ‘Sad But True’ by the protagonists, ‘No Excuses’ by Alice In Chains and ‘Stone Cold Crazy’ by Queen. All of them are prepared to be played alone or in company with any of the three instruments or the microphone.
But if you are not XBox 360 users and you are in the mood for thrash, here are a couple of videos that have been published, the first with the unforgettable ballad ‘The Unforgiven’, and the second with the extremely powerful ‘Dyers Eve’. I hope you have your guitar well tuned, because this game is going to demand the most of us.
