Beer is one of the most popular and consumed beverages in the world, to the point that it has its own day: the first Friday in August is International Beer Day . However, in some countries it is celebrated on different dates. For example, in Germany on April 23, and in the United States on April 5. But the first Friday of August is a date that was standardized to “worship” beer globally.

It all started in a bar in the city of Santa Cruz (California, United States) in 2007. A group of friends decided to honor beer, and started a tradition that has since spread to more than 50 countries and 200 cities. of all the world.
