Looking for free tax help in the Orlando area? For local help and advice on completing your tax return this year, please refer to the AARP TAX-AIDE Site Calendar listed below for Orange County and Seminole County. You can meet volunteers who will offer advice and even prepare some of the routine tax forms for you. You do not have to be an AARP member or a senior citizen to take advantage of this service.
Tax-Aide volunteers trained and certified by the IRS will provide free income tax assistance at many sites throughout the Orange and Seminole County area beginning in February 2012.
Individuals seeking assistance should bring relevant tax documents, such as a copy of last year’s tax return; forms showing earned income, pensions, and Social Security; 1099 forms showing interest and dividends; current packet of tax information that the IRS mailed to you; Photo ID and Social Security cards for everyone listed on your return. Electronic filing is available at all sites free of charge.
