This is my favorite hotel in Lille. It’s right in the heart of the city, but happily has adequate soundproofing. Even if you have a room with a view of the venue and the opera, you will not be disturbed. It is solidly dated, with 60 good-sized rooms and suites, tastefully decorated. The bathrooms are a decent size and well equipped. A nice quirky touch is that each floor has a large entrance hall, decorated with oversized paintings and strange pieces of sculpture. You have breakfast in the dining room on the first floor; but it’s best to get there early enough to get a table by the window. Check their website for good packages available all year round.
If you drive to Lille, do not use your car while in the city; let the janitor put the car in the garage until you leave.

With a history dating back to 1460, this incredibly renovated red brick building, built around old cobbled courtyards, is now an elegant hotel. It has become a favorite for a special occasion, so you need to book in advance. It feels isolated, but is only a few minutes walk from the center. The spacious rooms combine tradition with oak paneled walls and contemporary design incorporating elegant Stark furniture. Good-sized bathrooms are luxuriously appointed and towels and toiletries are top-notch. Here you can choose your style of food: there is an expensive gastronomic restaurant and a cozy staminet- style restaurant or bistro. There is live music in the cozy bar.

Hidden along the canal, but only a few minutes’ walk from the center, this former 17th-century convent has arched red brick corridors that open onto the central courtyard. The spacious rooms are modern, with all the 21st century amenities you need, plus excellent bathrooms that are well equipped. There is a lounge and a living room on the covered patio, while the restaurant has a charming internal terrace for summer dining with its well-priced menus.

Right in the heart of Lille, the hotel’s modest facade, built in 1988, really doesn’t do the hotel justice. Enter where the 42 rooms are well appointed with Executive Rooms benefiting from a recent update. There is no restaurant but you are so close to the action that there is no problem. But note that there is no elevator.

A favorite with returning guests, this city center hotel is charming. 63 individually decorated rooms are comfortably decorated; Some have wood paneled walls, others are light and modern. Wonderfully strange antiques decorate the main rooms of the hotel and the elevator from the 1930s comes straight out of a period movie. In addition, you will always receive a warm welcome and a good breakfast served in the charming dining room.

Close to the train stations and the historic center, the Kanaï is a good find. Rooms are comfortable, albeit small, and some have views of the surrounding old streets. But the warm welcome, good prices, and the added bonus of special parking rates and a 10% reduction at select nearby restaurants make up for the lack of facilities. But note that there is no elevator.
