55.2 percent of mobile phone users in Spain have a smartphone , according to a study published by ComScore, a company specialized in analyzing the impact of the digital world on the population. According to the report, Spain occupies the first European position in the use of smart phones, followed closely by the United Kingdom, where 55 percent of users have chosen this type of device.
In recent years there has been a revolution in mobile telephony and the number of people who buy a smartphone is increasing every day. "Smartphones are generally viewed as luxury devices , with high prices and high monthly fees, however, the largest market segment is among low-middle-income customers," explains Alistair Hill, analyst at ComScore.
Regarding the use of the telephone, Spaniards are the Europeans who listen to the most music through their mobile device. In terms of access to social networks and blogs, the United Kingdom is in the lead, with 39.2 percent of users who consult the networks from mobile phones, followed by our country with 31.1 percent.
What is clear is that this figure will increase in the coming years both due to the improvement of the devices, as well as the cheaper of the same.
