How to play 'Days Gone' and not die trying

For some reason, zombies are all the rage. These mindless beings who enjoy eating human flesh have spent decades starring (usually as villains) in numerous films, series, books and cultural products of all kinds. When, for example, we refer to zombie video games, we usually find titles that stand out for their suspense, the atmosphere of terror and the infinite hordes that must be faced. Days Gone has taken those principles and taken them one step further .

The latest exclusive title for PS4, developed by Bend Studio and Sony Interactive Entertainment , places us in a shattered world in which a pandemic spread and turned a large part of the population into bloodthirsty zombies, the so-called “monsters”. Things look bad, but the protagonist is not just anyone. Deacon St. John is a member of a motorcycle club, tireless fighter and willing to do whatever it takes to survive, and we will put our hopes in him. Throughout history we will have to learn to use the scarce resources that are within our reach to see the dawn of another day and advance in a plot that becomes complicated and twisted as it progresses.

Mounted on a wandering motorcycle, the player will be able to explore a vast world in which to put his skills to the test. The gameplay of the title is varied and versatile by combining elements of shooter , hand-to-hand combat, exploration, survival and driving. Each mission can be considered in different ways depending on what style of play we decide to use at each moment. But we will have to be quick, because the threat is constant .

Days Gone is a challenge that conveys the feeling of loneliness and danger of our protagonist . To facilitate those first moments of confusion in which the player becomes familiar with the game, here are a few resources and tips that can (perhaps) serve as a guide in a hostile and deadly world. Do you have what it takes to survive out there?
