Chef (2014)

Chef is the ideal cinematic experience for the food traveler. In it, burned-out chef Carl Caspar (Jon Favreau) is fired from his restaurant and, as a last resort, opens a food truck where he makes perfect tacos. While driving across the United States with his ex-wife (Sofía Vergara) and son to sell their food, the chef connects with his son about the diversity of American food. They savor beignets in New Orleans, brisket in Texas, and Cubans in Miami. From coast to coast, the film is infused with a passion for food and creativity, as well as joy and family love.

Ratatouille (2007)

One of the sweetest food travel movies, Ratatouille , features an unlikely chef, Remy, the country rat. Remy leaves his small town and, by chance, lands in the kitchens of the old Paris restaurant, Gusteau’s, which has lost its stars (a nod to the famous Michelin stars). Remy finds an unlikely ally in the kitchen boy named Linguini and, together, they prepare magical dishes that make the restaurant the best foodie destination in town, pleasing even the harshest restaurant critic in town.

This beautiful film will leave you hungry for the peasant food of Provence and the excellent restaurants of Paris. The restaurant shows that “not everyone can become a great artist, but a great artist can come from anywhere “.

One of the most popular food travel movies is Eat Pray Love. Elizabeth Gilbert (Julia Roberts) leaves the safe confines of her life in New York City on a journey of self-fulfillment to Italy, India, and Indonesia.
