"Join in!": Club calls on fans to support Ukraine – and shows numerous ways to help

Ukraine-Aid/Nuremberg: “Donate ready-packed first-aid bags”

“First-aid bags contain the essential medically necessary materials that are currently required in Ukraine. From now until Friday, March 25th, the club and savings bank are collecting ready-made first-aid kits that you can buy in hardware stores, car dealerships and workshops and that you know from every car.” All 1. FCN fans are invited to purchase first-aid kits “and to hand it over to us for onward transport”:

Club convoy drives to Ukrainian border – support for Lviv

The Club convoy – FCN buses and vans – is expected to start with the Club family towards the Ukrainian border at the end of next week. Volunteers receive the medical material there and deliver to hospitals and hospitals in the city of Lviv.

Ukraine refugees: Wanted foster homes for pets

Anyone who can offer help for the refugees’ pets can also get in touch. We are looking for people who can temporarily take in animals from private individuals who have fled the Ukraine.

“We have two dogs of our own that are part of the family and I would do anything for them. I would be very happy if the club family found out more from the animal shelter in Nuremberg and if anyone could offer the Ukrainian refugee animals a foster home. We are only looking for temporary supporters and animal lovers,” club professional Johannes Geis is quoted as saying.
