Hemingway Days (July 20-24, 2016): Key West honors Ernest Hemingway with an annual celebration that includes a similarity contest.
Caladium Festival (July 29-31, 2016) – Lake Placid hosts a Caladium Festival to celebrate the harvest and its title of Caladium Capital of the World. Caladium exhibits are featured downtown and in nearby subdivisions, there are bus trips to the Caladium fields, and Caladium crafts abound.
