More than half a year after his death, comedian Karl Dall finally got the funeral he had wished for: At sea with his closest family.
Westerland – Around seven months after his death, the comedian Karl Dall was buried in the North Sea off Sylt.
"Karl is now part of the great and infinite sea, the waves, the ebb and flow," his family told the German press agency. “The sound of the sea tells a lot of stories and now with a little more humor. We miss him very much and he will live forever in our hearts. ”The burial at sea took place on Sunday morning.
Shortly after his death last November, Dalls long-time manager had said that Dall had ordered and paid for a burial at sea with close family members while he was still alive. However, this should only take place once the corona pandemic has been contained.
Karl Dall ("Dall-As", "Jux und Dallerei") was an East Frisian and last lived with his wife in Hamburg. He had not recovered from a stroke and died at the age of 79. dpa
