Marini and Márquez lead the penultimate day of preseason in Mandalika

Mandalika.- The Italian from the VR46 team beat the best time achieved by Toprak Razgatliouglu by 1.6 seconds, in the visit of the WorldSBK championship, last November.

Behind Luca Marini, just one tenth behind him, was Marc Márquez, who dedicated most of the time to lapping, without anyone from his team even showing him the board. The Honda rider completed a total of 74 laps and was one of the riders with the most kilometers.

Behind the rider from Cervera (Lleida) finished Maverick Viñales, while the fourth, still two tenths behind Marini, was the current champion, Fabio Quartararo.

The fifth fastest lap went to Joan Mir, who nailed the time of Johann Zarco (fifth), the second best classified among the Ducati riders who have the new Desmosedici GP22.

Enea Bastianini once again showed that she is in top form and that she promises war, finishing seventh, just three tenths off the fastest.

Pol Espargaró was eighth, while Jorge Martín (ninth) and Pecco Bagnaia (tenth) closed a top ten in which only four tenths separated the first from the tenth. After being the first Honda on Friday, the rider from Granollers has taken over from his teammate.

Alex Rins finished 13th, slower than his fourth place on Friday, and Alex Márquez, 16th, immediately ahead of Fabio Di Giannantonio, the best of the rookies, Raul Fernández, meanwhile, was positioned 21st, 1 .1 seconds off the fastest after falling in the last third of training.

After a significant result yesterday, Aleix Espargaró has fallen behind on the time sheet. The Granollers driver also crashed at turn 12 of the Indonesian track.

The on-track action will continue tomorrow in Lombok for the final day of the premier class pre-season test.
