Marc Márquez , who has spent the winter practically unemployed and with hardly any physical training, said last Friday that he had experienced a notable improvement, which led him to get on a motocross bike.

After that first test, the Honda rider stressed that he did not want to rush and that, always with the consent of Dr. Bernardo Sánchez Dalmau ‘s team, he was not going to ensure his presence in the first training sessions of 2022, before shooting on a circuit of the of Grand Prix.

“I feel very happy, first to get back on a bike on the track and also because we have been able to confirm the sensations I had doing motocross. Since I haven’t been on a motorcycle for a long time, I’ve noticed that I’m lacking a bit in some physical aspects, but this is because I haven’t been able to have a regular pre-season. There is room for improvement, but the positive and fundamental part of this test has been to reconfirm the feeling we had when we got on the motocross bike for the first time and enjoy the sensation of speed. I have completed an intense test day with long runs, so I am very happy with the result. There are two weeks left before the tests start in Sepang, so I will take the opportunity to intensify my physical preparation and train on the motorcycle”, explained Marc, making clear his intention to be in the vital tests on the 5th and 6th of and February.
