While waiting for Honda to confirm it through an official statement, the test carried out by Marc Márquez this Sunday in Portimao gave a positive result, so the rider’s recovery, as regards his eye injury, is complete.
Marc Márquez gave 65 laps in three batches of 15 laps and a final start of 20 to verify that neither high speed nor fatigue compromised the vision of the runner, who had been suffering from an episode of diplopia (double vision) since October 30, when he went to the ground hitting his head while practicing motocross.
Marc’s feelings at the end of the day have been positive and this Monday he will undergo a review before announcing that next February 5 and 6 he will be present at the MotoGP pre-season start test in Sepang.
