Mercado Libre will make express deliveries in CDMX, Guadalajara and Monterrey

Under the slogan buy today and receive today, Mercado Libre will have available to its users 10 million Full items (items stored in the warehouses operated by the company), including products from its supermarket section, in a delivery of less than 24 hours.

The cities that will have this service are: Monterrey, Guadalajara and CDMX as a whole, with a view to extending the delivery system to more and more cities in the country.

“We know that one of the challenges in electronic commerce is to reduce delivery times more and more, so today we are more than happy to announce the arrival of this new service to the largest cities in Mexico. At Mercado Libre, we are convinced that in this way we will build a better shopping experience for all users and we will be able to satisfy their needs more immediately, ”says David Geisen, General Director of Mercadolibre Mexico.

The express delivery option will automatically appear on selected items on the platform. Same-day shipments are added to the benefits that the platform currently offers: protected purchase and free shipping on purchases over 299 pesos to any part of the country.

“We know that the best moments always come early, so we will continue working to offer our users the best benefits and the best shopping experience,” concludes Geisen.

With this, Mercado Libre seeks to compete with Amazon in Prime deliveries, which are offered the next day.
