Miller: "The problem, the Ducati in front"

Buriram.- The Australian completed one of the best races of his life at Motegi, achieving a brilliant and overwhelming victory, and he did it last Sunday starting from seventh position on the grid, the same box from which he will start the race this Sunday. of MotoGP of the Grand Prix of Thailand.

For Jack Miller, qualifying in Q2 was not good, and despite the precedent in Japan, having to come back from the third row of the grid will not be easy, especially due to the super population of Ducati ahead of him.

“We had a problem with the engine on the second start, a pity,” he explained to understand his classification.

“The pace is good, I feel good, but starting seventh we’ll see,” warned the Ducati rider.

“I think I can do well and overtake several riders at the start. The problem is that I have several Ducatis in front, with the same system as me,” referring to the Desmosedici’s rear height device.

For Miller, the problem with his engine is not of major importance for the race, he sees the issue of resistance more complicated before the prevailing heat and humidity.

“In the fourth rehearsal I did 18 laps, I ended up destroyed. The problem with the engine will be solved because they will install a new one,” he settled that issue.

In the absence of the warm up on Sunday morning, Miller hopes to take one more step.

“I think we can find a little bit more potential for tomorrow.”

On this circuit, with hard braking before a high-angle corner, the Ducatis are making the difference.

“I have improved at the entrance of the curve, I have reset myself to get more cornering and come out better”.

Looking ahead to the race, Miller did not want to make many forecasts, but he did warn that Pecco Bagnaia will not be alone in the fight.

“Fabio will be there and Jorge has been very fast all weekend”, in relation to Fabio Quartararo and Jorge Martín, fourth and second, respectively, on the grid.
