As is the tradition in each of the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix editions, many of the drivers take part in the iconic football match held at the stadium of the local team, AS Monaco .
Forced by the pandemic, the race in the Principality ended up being suspended in 2020, with which the members of the grid stayed at home without the possibility of demonstrating their skills with the ball.
This event used to be held on the Tuesday or Wednesday before the single-seaters were put on the track, since, let’s remember, the activity in Monaco began on Thursday with free practice.
This year, with the return of the fans to the stands and the return to normality, according to F1News , the Stade Louis II will host the game on May 24, that is, the Tuesday before the grand prix.
Tickets will be priced between 12 and 15 euros , which will be donated to charity. Spectators in attendance will be able to watch motorsports stars race across the green trying to score goals from 8pm, and those unable to attend have the option to watch live on Sky Sports F1 .

In previous editions we have seen images to remember, such as the famous and spectacular goal by Fernando Alonso from a direct free kick or a goal by Giancarlo Fisichella even dribbling past the goalkeeper.
The last time drivers took to the pitch in Monaco was in 2019, when Prince Albert II himself acted as captain, as did Riccardo Patrese . Drivers of the stature of Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz, Sergio Pérez, Lando Norris, Pierre Gasly or Antonio Giovinazzi were distributed in the teams.
There were also other personalities from the motor world, such as Felipe Massa, Mark Webber, Max Biaggi or the head of Pirelli in Formula 1, Mario Isola .
