Days ago we broke the news about the ‘ FIFA 12′ demo, so it was a matter of time until we knew when the corresponding arrival of the demo for Konami’s sports simulator would take place. But the funny thing is that ‘ PES 2012′ will not have one demo, but two.
In both cases, in addition, it will be different demos, both by the teams, as well as the versions of both. One less polished, another more current, close to the final product. Something that in my view can be counterproductive, considering that the first demo will obviously be about the less polished version, although Konami has responded to this fact in the following way, giving information about the different demos:
“It will be based on the Preview code with which the media have been able to make their previews a few weeks ago on this new edition. In this phase of development, users will be able to begin to familiarize themselves with the Teammate control options, and experience the enormous change that the ActiveAI artificial intelligence system will bring to the whole of PES 2012. We will be able to choose between Manchester United, AC Milan, FC Porto , SSC Napoli, Santos FC, and CA Peñarol. But not only friendly matches of 10 minutes can be played; This demo will include elements of the new Dynamic Training mode that will help, through practice and challenges, to precisely control all the new control elements and possibilities on the field of play. This first demo will not represent the level of the final product. “
This demo will be available this Wednesday, August 24, for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, while the second demo will arrive in mid-September ( ‘ PES 2012′ will go on sale at the end of that month). This time the second demo will feature the gameplay and final control elements, close, as we say, to the final version. The funny thing is that the teams available here will be different: Tottenham Hotspur, FC Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, Rangers FC, Club America and Internacional. According to Jon Murphy, European PES Team Leader , the decision to offer two different demos is because:
“With the first demo we want to begin to be aware of the new Teammate systems, as well as the great change that artificial intelligence will undergo with ActiveAI. Then, in the second demo, you can check the final level of all these elements with other teams, so this demo will be exactly the same as the final product in terms of control and playable elements. We believe in the opinion of our fans and their reactions will help us adjust the experience of what will be the most ambitious PES of the entire series. “
We will have to see how the play goes. In the meantime, if you want to continue contributing curious achievements to officers, feel free to do so. The same even take note of Konami in the future to make them more varied and fun.
