Motorsport’s top flight has fully entered the final phase of the 2022 championship and the Japanese Grand Prix could witness Max Verstappen’s second consecutive title if his accounts hold.

Review here what Verstappen needs to be the 2022 F1 champion in Japan

After this weekend in Suzuka, there will only be four Grands Prix left to play, so the teams can no longer miss any opportunity if they want to sentence or continue fighting for their objectives, most of them still on edge.

The Japanese track, which returns to the Formula 1 calendar after two seasons of absence due to the impact of COVID-19 (in 2019 and 2020 they were not present), is a great challenge for the teams.

It is no surprise to say that the teams modify their cars depending on the characteristics of each circuit and, for Suzuka, a track where power is very important, but also the passage through medium and high speed corners, some teams have brought some improvements and technical innovations with which they hope to gain extra performance. We review the most important updates.

However, we will not know which team has been more successful until the single-seaters do not step on the Japanese asphalt this Friday in free practice, although judging by the weather, which threatens rain , we may not have an answer until the classification is disputed or even the race.
