Like every week after the races, the MotoGP podcast arrives, in which Uri Puigdemont and Germán Garcia Casanova analyze, and this time they discuss from certainly different points of view, which rider came out the winner of the Malaysian weekend.
While Pecco Bagnaia’s victory is indisputable and reaffirms his current impressive moment of form, following an unstoppable line since the end of June, Fabio Quartararo broke the terrible trend in that same period to, on the bell, manage to return to the podium and abort the achievement of the title for Ducati.
The Frenchman will take the mystery to Valencia, only two points separate Pecco from the championship, but Fabio has given Pecco two weeks of being at home thinking and thinking about everything that can happen in Valencia, a complicated circuit and in which we have seen everything.
The title is, almost almost, in the pocket of Bagnaia and Ducati, but one last effort is missing, which will be surrounded by maximum pressure and anything can happen until the checkered flag.
Aprilia ‘s bad moment and Aleix Espargaró’s desperation at having lost all his chances of fighting for the championship, especially due to team errors, is another point of debate in our podcast, with the clear impression that for Aleix passed an opportunity that, hardly, will be presented again like this year.
Finally, Marc Márquez’s race revealed the limitations of an RC213V that Honda needs to change from top to bottom, while time is running out and there is no sign that for the Valencia test on November 8, the Japanese will have the 2023 prototype.
