The third official MotoGP practice session in Misano ended with the best time for the Yamaha rider, who in a late start in the third session lowered the time to 1.31.116 (51 thousandths of the absolute record for the track 1.31.065), beating Pecco Bagnaia (1.31.172), who had led up to that moment after bettering Maverick Viñales, who shortly before had placed first on the Aprilia (1.31.189), and Enea Bastianini, who shortly before After the lunch break he placed third, to be overtaken by Fabio and finish in fourth position.
Aleix Espargaró, who had set his best lap in the 36th lap of the morning (1.31.333) crashed when looking for the limits of the track in the next attempt, and was sixth in the time sheet when he had been improving his own brand. Jorge Martín was seventh ahead of Miguel Oliveira, while Fabio Di Giannantonio, on a fast last lap, moved up to eighth place to improve on Franco Morbidelli, ninth, and Marc Márquez, who dropped one position at the last minute to close the top10.

But without a doubt, Marc Márquez ‘s progress was the most surprising part of the morning session in Misano. The Spaniard, after reappearing on Tuesday giving 39 laps in the morning with a best time of 1.32.395, went out on the track six times this Wednesday, in batches of six laps (the first and sixth only five). In his fifth outing, around 12 noon, the rider from Cervera went into attack mode and after lowering his time twice in the fourth round (1.32.226), in the fifth he did two fastest laps, setting the clock in the second down from 32 (1.31.642) and up to ninth in the times as the fastest Honda on track.
At the end of the session, Márquez had made six starts and a total of 34 laps, which added to the 39 of the previous day yield a total of 73 laps and 308.5 timed kilometers. His teammate Pol Espargaró was 12th, with Alex Márquez and Takaaki Nakagami, 16th and 17th, respectively.
