On his last lap and with the clock at zero, Fabio Quartararo set the best time of FP3 and of the weekend, stopping the clock in 2.02.361, more than four tenths faster than last year’s pole time, achieved by a Pecco Baganaia who also at the last minute managed, inextremis, a time that allowed him to go to Q2, in which they will be in addition to the current world champion and the Italian Enea Bastianini, who was second on the time sheet, or Jack Miller.
Marc Márquez also made the cut, who was fourth looking for Fabio’s wheel in the last minutes of training on the weekend of his reappearance after the eye injury that kept him sidelined for two races. Johann Zarco, was fifth despite suffering a crash at turn 2 a minute from the end, Pecco, who was sixth, Pol Espargaró, who slipped into the top ten on his last attempt, Jon Mir, despite also falling he fell with six minutes to go at turn 11 but did not lose his place in the top ten, the Japanese Takaaki Nakagami, who was ninth, and closing the top 10 Luca Marini, who also achieved his time in the last moments of the training.

Aleix will be accompanied, among others, by Alex Rins, very fast yesterday and with problems this Saturday morning, Maverick Viñales, Franco Morbidelli or Jorge Martín, who has qualified in the front row in the three previous races but who could not make the cut, partly due to a crash 14 minutes from the end at turn 16.
Miguel Oliveira, winner in Indonesia, Alex Márquez, who fell in the first part of the session or Brad Binder, who also fell at the end of training, just like his brother Darryn, were left out of the top 10 and will also have to go through the Q1,
