A face lift is always good. Even when you apparently don’t need it, as is the case with Rainbow Six Siege, the Ubisoft title that has become one of its great bastions , both critically and economically.
Now, the French company has announced the title roadmap for its Year 6 . This is a huge amount of content that will progressively reach the game over the next 12 months.
Flores is the name of the new operator that will come from the hand of the first season of this Year 6, within the framework of Operation Crimson Heist . As you can guess from his name, his country of origin is Argentina and he is a medium armor and speed attacker (2 points). It has a device called CECR-Ratero, which allows you to control an explosive device remotely, while we move it around the map for a limited time.
The Gonne-6 is another weapon that will be launched with Crimson Heist and consists of a pistol that has a single shot, although sending an explosive salvo that will destroy all types of defense. A new map is also assured, being a revision of Frontera , the first DLC map that we could enjoy in Rainbow Six Siege.
However, one of the announcements that has caught our attention the most is the new personalization system that is coming. Here Ubisoft seems to have put a lot of meat on the grill, since it has had the collaboration of Ikumi Nakamura , former head of GhostWire: Tokyo, to design eight skins for the operators.
But there is more. A skin based on the mythical Jill Valentine from Resident Evil will be available for Zofia, based on the outfit from the first installment of the franchise. And when we thought that nothing could surprise us anymore, the Rick and Morty series will collaborate with Rainbow Six Siege . It is not known when or in what way, but what is certain is that it is one of the ones that we most want to see in 2021.
In addition, the game will redesign its visual presentation , moving closer to a more sporty approach thanks to its new logo, illustrations and new arts to modify the overall aesthetic.
