New movements within CD Projekt . The Polish company has announced that Gabriel Amatangelo is the new director of Cyberpunk 2077 and is already in charge of directing all future plans for the futuristic title.
As reported by Gamesindustry, this change comes as a result of two internal modifications of the company. The developer’s career goes back to his work as design director on the DLC for Dragon Age: Inquisition, as well as lead designer on different expansions that Star Wars: The Old Republic had. He joined the discipline of the Polish developer in January 2020 as Creative Director for Cyberpunk 2077 .
One of his goals from now on is to guarantee the roadmap set for the game with its updates, the arrival to PS5 and Xbox Series X / S and future expansions. For his part, Adam Badowski , moves to other leadership roles in the company after having been a director so far. Andrzej Zawadzki, chief designer, left CD Projekt RED after eight years with the company months ago.
Meanwhile, CD Projekt is waiting for Sony to confirm the return of the title to the PlayStation Store . On the other hand, the class action lawsuit of the investors against the study will be presented in June.
