We left behind a very powerful month of February thanks to the launch of PS Vita, but luckily the pace will not slow down in March. Many titles will hit stores this month that we begin today, and some of them promise to be among the big hits of 2012.
, we are going to give a review of what these next weeks will bring us through ourrelease guide. Grab the wallets before they run off to find safety.
Wii: partying with Mario
Nintendo is trying to make the Wii able to withstand the pull of its final stage before pulling out of the market with at least one notable title a month. The one chosen to cover that role in March will be ‘Mario Party 9’ , a new iteration of a saga known to all and that has always been a guarantee of fun in company. We will have it at our disposal tomorrow.
As an attractive accompaniment to the plumber’s minigame title we will have ‘Bit.Trip Complete’ on the 23rd. It is a compilation in physical format of the different titles already digitally edited on WiiWare, an unbeatable opportunity to discover this fun series if you haven’t already find in your collection.
This month’s repertoire on Wii is completed with ‘Poképark 2: A world of illusions’ also on the 23rd, in this case with the smallest of the house as the main objective. It’s clear that pocket pets won’t run out of steam for many years to come.

PlayStation 3: now, it’s Sweet Tooth’s turn
Last month it announced ‘Twisted Metal’ as the big PlayStation 3 exclusive arrival, but shortly thereafter Sony confirmed a slight delay due to nasty censorship decisions. So, we will have to go through the ring of a softened version that will go on sale on the 8th.
Another title of the house that has aroused a lot of expectation is ‘Journey’ , although obviously we are talking about a project with much more humble pretensions and away from the madding crowd that covers most releases these days. A different and daring proposal by thatgamecompany that we can download on the 14th.
Although personally I think that the great highlight of the month on this console will not be an exclusive, but the desired ‘Mass Effect 3’ . An epic and passionate trilogy like few others will come to an end on March 9 , and all of us who have followed the adventures of Commander Shepard are obliged to attend this show.
Another one that those of us who enjoy fighting should not lose sight of is ‘Street Fighter x Tekken’ , the meeting of two mythical sagas of the genre. You already know that it is part of a cross project with Namco that will have its counterpart later, but for now the party begins with the work of Capcom. On sale also on the 9th.
The list goes on and as you can see is quite extensive, so I summarize the rest of the premieres: ‘ SSX ‘ and ‘Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition’ on sale tomorrow, ‘Blades of Time’ on the 8th, ‘Silent Hill: Downpour’ and ‘Warp’ on the 13th, ‘Shoot Many Robots’ on the 14th, ‘ Silent Hill HD Collection ‘ on the 15th, ‘ Yakuza: Dead Souls’ and ‘ FIFA Street’ on the 16th, ‘Ninja Gaiden 3’ , ‘Resident Evil : Operation Raccoon City ‘ and ‘ Armored Core V ‘ on the 23rd, ‘ Ridge Racer Unbounded ‘,’ Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations’ and ‘Sniper Ghost Warrior 2’ on the 30th.

Xbox 360: finish them off, Shepard
On Xbox 360 the most prominent title will be ‘Mass Effect 3’ , which as I have already mentioned in the PlayStation 3 section, we will be able to enjoy on the 9th. As a title that for now we can only play on this machine we have ‘I Am Alive’ , which will be released on March 7 and with the expectation of reaching the rest of the platforms in the coming months.
For the rest, we repeat the dates we have already given for ‘ SSX ‘ and ‘Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition’ tomorrow, ‘Blades of Time’ on the 8th, ‘Street Fighter x Tekken’ on the 9th, ‘Silent Hill: Downpour’ and ‘Warp’ on the 13th, ‘Shoot Many Robots’ on the 14th, ‘Silent Hill HD Collection’ on the 15th, ‘ FIFA Street’ on the 16th, ‘Ninja Gaiden 3’ , ‘Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City’ and ‘Armored Core V’ on the 23rd, ‘Ridge Racer Unbounded’, ‘Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations’ and ‘Sniper Ghost Warrior 2’ on the 30th.

PC: welcome Rayman
With a little delay compared to its premiere on consoles, the very interesting ‘Rayman Origins’ will finally arrive on the PC. A title that is pure charm, ideal both for those of us who enjoy the beginnings of the saga and for those who want to debut with it today, available to the PC on March 30.
Other titles to consider on this platform are ‘The Sims 3 Jump To Fame’ on the 8th, ‘Mass Effect 3’ on the 9th, ‘Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City’ and ‘Total War Shogun 2: Fall of the Samurai’ on the 23rd, ‘Ridge Racer Unbounded’ and ‘Sniper Ghost Warrior 2’ on the 30th.
Portable: three-dimensional snakes
The share of prominence in 3DS during the month of March will be occupied mainly by two important arrivals: ‘Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D’ by Konami on the 8th and ‘Kid Icarus: Uprising’ by Nintendo itself on the day 23. Along the way, ‘Bit.Trip Saga’ will also drop on the 23rd and ‘Rayman: Origins’ on the 30th.
The youngest PS Vita will see its still scarce catalog grow with ‘Unit 13’ on the 14th, ‘Little King’s Story’ on the 15th and ‘Silent Hill: Book of Memories’ on the 22nd. With these releases and all those previously discussed, Here is the calendar to plan the month of March:
