Rick and Morty: HBO Spain and TNT will premiere season 5 on June 21

One of the most watched adult animation series in recent years, Rick and Morty will premiere on June 21. The new installment of the legendary series will arrive in Spain, just 24 hours after its premiere in the United States thanks to HBO Spain and TNT. Its followers are already looking forward to seeing the ten new episodes of this animated series for adults that has become a success at the height of The Simpsons. The series was created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon in 2013 under the Adult Swim label. Ricky and Morty follows the misadventures of a scientist, Rick, and his clumsy and influential grandson, Morty, who spend their time between domestic life and some intergalactic and space travel – a series that has won two Emmys, the first in 2018 and the second in 2020 thanks to The Vat of Acid Episode, the eighth chapter of the fourth season. The creators are Dan Harmon, known for his work on Community, a group of students attending a community college in the fictional town of Greendale, and Justin Roiland for Solar Opposites, another adult animated series that recently premiered Disney + Star.
