Cologne – Singer Sarah Engels and her husband have completely set up the nursery for their baby even before the birth. “I’m known for being very organized. So everything is already there in the children’s room and everything is set up when the little one comes, ”said the 29-year-old in Cologne.
Actually, this time she wanted to “take it easy” – when her first son Alessio was born, in the end she was too worried. “But then you are so happy that you are happy to take care of it,” said Engels.
Married to Pietro Lombardi from 2013 to 2019
The singer had revealed in June that she was expecting offspring with her husband Julian. From 2013 to 2019 she was married to singer Pietro Lombardi (29), the father of their first son Alessio. The couple met at the casting show “Deutschland sucht den Superstar”. Since then, Engels has made a career: she is an influencer, released a new album in 2021 and successfully participated in shows such as “Let’s Dance” (RTL) and “The Masked Singer” (ProSieben).
She was fine during her pregnancy, said Engels. “At first I had to struggle with nausea, but after that it got better bit by bit.” The main thing now is of course that the little one is healthy. But it is also nice that it is a girl and that Alessio has such a little sister – “and I as a woman at home female support”.
The family has to stick together
She wanted to convey values to her children that her parents also gave her along the way, said the pop singer. “That means that the family sticks together, one is honest and that there are many things in the world that cannot be bought.” Dpa
