After two weeks off, MotoGP returns to Spain for the 15th round of the 2022 season, the Aragón Grand Prix , after which there will only be five races left for the end of the campaign.

Fabio Quartararo arrives in Alcañiz with more than a race lead (30 points) over Pecco Bagnaia, who in the last San Marino Grand Prix rose to second place overall. Aleix Espargaró, who has been fighting for the title since the end of the summer break, is third, 33 points behind ‘El Diablo’.
The riders come from two test days at the Misano circuit, where they were able to test components to improve the performance of their bikes. Although they worked with an eye on the 2023 campaign, they could release new evolutions in Motorland.

The Motorland circuit, venue for the 2022 MotoGP Aragon GP
The Motorland circuit is located in the surroundings of Alcañiz. It was built in 2009, with a capacity for 129,500 spectators , and hosted the first Aragón Grand Prix in 2010. Since then, it has been part of the MotoGP calendar without interruption.
The Spanish event was awarded the prize for the best grand prix of the 2010 season .

The driver who has won the most at Motorland is Marc Márquez , who racked up five wins there. Jorge Lorenzo and Casey Stoner achieved two each. These three drivers are also the ones who have achieved the most poles , in the same order and with the same number.
