MotoGP does not rest, and after the Aragón Grand Prix, the paddock heads to the Asian continent to dispute the usual oriental tour. The first stop will be the Japanese Grand Prix, round 16 of the 2022 season, at the well-known Motegi circuit.
Here you can write down the schedules in Spain and Latin America for the third date of the year that will be held in the Japanese archipelago.
Fabio Quartararo arrives at Motegi with just 10 points ahead of Pecco Bagnaia, after crashing at the last Aragon Grand Prix. Aleix Espargaró, who was reunited with the podium in Alcañiz, also closed the gap with the Frenchman, and is emerging as the third in discord with only 17 points.
The riders have not ridden on the Japanese track since 2019 , so there are many who do not know what it is to drive a MotoGP in Motegi. Likewise, on the current MotoGP grid, only Marc Márquez knows what it means to win in the premier class.
