The clothing manufacturer Schöffel has launched a recall. Garments from the summer and winter collections 2021 are affected. The company cites unreliable UV values as the reason.
Schwabmünchen – Due to incorrect sun protection labeling, the clothing manufacturer Schöffel is recalling some of its articles nationwide. “Unfortunately, during the quality control of our product range, we found that some of the Schöffel collections in summer 2021 and winter 2021 are marked with an incorrect sun protection value,” said the company based in Schwabmünchen near Augsburg.
For some products, “the specified UV values are not reliable”. According to the company, customers who have bought such items can return them to stores for a refund of the purchase price. On the company’s website, customers can check whether their outdoor clothing is affected. dpa
