Schwarzenegger involved in car crash in Los Angeles

Neither alcohol nor drugs are said to have been involved: actor Schwarzenegger is said to have survived a car accident unscathed, but not a woman in the other vehicle.

Los Angeles – According to media reports, Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger survived a traffic accident in Los Angeles unharmed.

A woman in another vehicle was taken to a hospital with minor injuries after the incident on Friday afternoon (local time), US media reported, citing the police.

One vehicle ran into another. “Neither alcohol nor drugs are suspected as a factor in this clash,” the media quoted the police as saying.

The police did not provide any information about the identity of those involved. However, a Schwarzenegger spokesman told the Los Angeles Times that the 74-year-old had just left his home and was driving an SUV, which then collided with another car. The former California governor saw the injured woman at the scene of the accident and later spoke to emergency services.

In previous years, Austrian-born Schwarzenegger (“Terminator”, “The Total Remembrance – Total Recall”) was often in Europe around this time in January and attended, for example, society events related to the famous Hahnenkamm race in Kitzbühel. dpa
