After showing its power during the E3 2021 conference, Microsoft was not satisfied and has offered us the Xbox Games Showcase: Extended, an event in which we take a more in-depth look at the games they showed during the fair.
While there were mind-blowing announcements, we also miss some great actors. One of them was Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, the second installment of the brutal first installment of Ninja Theory that will arrive exclusively on Xbox Series X / S and PC . Now, a new preview in the form of making of allows us to take a look at what awaits us.
As reported by the studio director, Tameem Antoniades , they are making a great effort to reproduce the historical aspect of the game’s context. This takes us to the Iceland of the ninth century , so they have sent their own visual and audio art teams to collect images, both by satellite and by photography and photogrammetry.
In addition, they have taken care to recreate the characteristic costumes of the time to later scan them for the title. In addition, Antoniades has indicated that they are working together with Epic Games to offer realistic characters . Melina, the actress who plays Senua, has been training for two years to offer us a more brutal combat than was seen in the first installment.
Although the video has made us long, it is important to note that these are images that may vary from the final product. Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II therefore continues with no release date.
